Photographer, not quite!
I am trying my hand at photography. Photography is a form of art when the photographer can capture a scene at such an angle that it tells a story. I am working to become better at determining that perfect angle.
Americana!
There are certain things that I truly enjoy photographing. Something that truly appeals to me is a pasture with hay bales stretched across it. I think that this scene is so Americana. When my co-worker and I take students on field trips, I am always on the look out for something that I want to photograph. He thinks that I am a little weird to be so enthralled by hay pastures. My husband, on the other hand, stopped for me to photograph a hay pasture scene. He even took directions over and over again as I sat in the bed of the truck taking these photos and repeating “back just a little more,” with each snap. Little things like that are why I love him.
There is something about a pasture of round hay bales that just screams Americana to me.
